TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION ENEL MAT-E&C-NC-2022-0098-GIN
Columns from welded steel sheet with octagonal cross section for low and medium tension overhead lines made by a company ISO9001 certified and having authorisation as processing centre according to DM 14/01/08, brand palicampion and subsequent external longitudinal welding carried out with automatic process (submerged arc) approved by R.I.N.A. and I.I.S. (Istituto Italiano della Saldatura) and welding check according to EN ISO 3834.
Minimum failure horizontal load approved by Enel following to the positive results of the traction test required on the ENEL document.
Works according to the type of column as requested:
Columns length up to 10m: throughout hole d.22 and closing cap on top
Colunms length over 10m: nut M16 earth connection. At the base, throughout hole d.22 and closing cover on top. Identification mark punched on the plate mentioning manufacturer’s logo, column code, and year of manufacturing
Protection against corrosion by means of hot dip galvanisation obtained with the following cycle: degreasing; pickling, washing, fluxing, pre heating; hot dip galvanization in melted zinc bath at 440÷450°, with minimum percentage of zinc into the bath ≥ 98.5%.
Coating obtained according to UNI EN ISO 1461 with minimum thickness 55 microns et average 70 microns.
external bituminous coating which consist in applying on the galvanised column, a bituminous coating, resin and fibreglass, having an height of 600 mm and located at a distance He from the base of the column.
